Coaching for Authors

Coaching is available to all writers; however, packages that include mentoring or manuscript appraisals are specifically for romance/women’s fiction authors. All packages can be tailored to small groups if you prefer to work with friends and reduce costs in the process – only available on request.

One-off sessions:

Need to chat through a particular writing-related problem? Want help brainstorming ideas? Need a bit of a confidence boost? Book a one-off session and get the support you need with no further commitment.

£70 per hour.

Coaching has been crucial in my development as a writer. New challenges crop up all the time, and having the one-on-one coaching support to help me navigate through the trickier parts of a complex timeline or a challenging character arc has been invaluable. Whenever I reach a point where I need that extra help and guidance, I book a session with Aimee, and she's never failed to iron out my issues and put me back on the right path.

The Newbie Package

Always wanted to write a novel? Have written loads of bits and pieces, or have lots of ideas, but don’t know where to start? Halfway through a novel but feeling stuck? The newbie package is for you. It combines coaching and mentoring, guiding you through the writing and, eventually, the publishing process.

The Accountability/Motivation Package

Already published but struggling to keep up? Is procrastination your middle name recently? Is the writer life feeling overwhelming? Struggling with imposter syndrome? The accountability package is for you. You need someone on your team; a cheerleader on your side who’ll listen to your struggles, provide solutions, help you make goals and more importantly, stick to them!

The Skills Package

Want to learn more while you write? Struggle with certain aspects of craft: either big picture issues (plotting, characterisation, structure etc) or sentence-level issues (sentence structure, grammar, punctuation etc)? The skills package is our premium coaching service, offering coaching, teaching and mentoring in one combined programme. If you are determined to be a better writer, to produce the best book possible, this one is for you. Intense and rewarding, this programme makes you think, work and improve, ultimately becoming the best writer you can be.

The Bespoke Package

Not sure you fit into any of the set packages? Want to design your own coaching/mentoring package to get exactly what you need? The bespoke package is for you. Tailored to your precise individual needs, this package allows you to decide how many sessions you want; whether they are face-to-face, on the phone, or through email/messenger; whether you require help with a specific writing problem e.g. creating internal conflict or help with grammar; the world is your oyster!

For those who’ve yet to publish, Aspire gives you the confidence you need to get your work finished and out there. Meet like-minded writers in the same boat, so you can be each other’s support through the daunting world of publishing.

Group Two: Inspire

The Inspire group coaching programme is for you. Six weeks dedicated to getting your ass in gear, to getting yourself back on track and motivated to be the best writer and self-publisher you can be. Be inspired to do whatever you need to do to get your mojo back or to take the next step needed to achieve real success in your publishing career. Whether rejigging your marketing strategies or improving your writing craft, this is your opportunity to really determine what your long-term goals are and to come up with short-term goals to help you get there.
